A hosted payments page is the solution for merchants who do not have a secure server or those who do not wish to accept credit card details on their own server. This allows hosting of a payments page on Realex Payments’ secure server, where the cardholder will be redirected when entering credit card details. This page can be branded with the same look and feel as the rest of the site and there will be no discernible difference for the customer.

This option is recommended for most ordinary sites particularly those run on a shared hosting platform. It is compatible out of the box with our e-commerce systems, X-Cart Shopping Cart and osCommerce Store System.

Merchants with secure servers who prefer customers to stay on their sites during transactions can collect credit card details themselves, submit these in the background to Realex Payments, which will reply within seconds. The merchant controls the full shopping experience. This option is recommended for systems where the merchant may require the customer's card details for further charges or use at a later date, or indeed simply wish to have full control over the payment process.

Realex Shopping Carts

Realex Payments does not provide it's own shopping cart solution. We have two online store systems available for use with Realex:
- X-Cart Shopping Cart
- osCommerce Store System

Both of the above can be easily integrated with Realex for payment processing.
