Services: Web Applications: David McWilliams

The David McWilliams website (http://www.davidmcwilliams.ie/) was designed to be a central store of his work to date including his newspaper articles, video clips of interviews from the Agenda TV show, and audio clips from "Breakfast with David McWilliams" which ran on Newstalk 106.

As David would need to continually update and add to the content, a content management system was designed for his research assistant to logon to as required and upload new articles and clips.

A system of categorisation was also built in to sort the various media by theme.

In addition to the content management, the back end administration system also has a newsletter management system where a non technical person can compose and send an email newsletter to subscribers.

The site was constructed using ASP, Javascript and HTML and runs on the Windows Server platform. The content is stored in an Access database.
