Based in Mullingar, Ashe Equestrian has gone global through the use of the X-cart ecommerce system on their website www.theequestrianstore.com. Ashe have gained market share throughout Europe and are aiming to increase this further in 2005.

The design of the Ashe Equestrian store is very different to the standard x-cart installation and demonstrates the powerful customisation features of X-Cart.

Since the X-cart store was developed in 2003, Ashe have redeveloped and added custom features to the store based on customer feedback and their own administrative requirements. Custom features that have been added include a more advanced back ordering system and integration of online parcel tracking for shipped items.

The store is managed and updated by Ashe Equestrian staff on a daily basis without any expert IT knowledge, but this is always on hand as unlimited technical support is available to X-cart users.
