Step 4: Server Settings
Server settings sound worse than they really are!
The incoming mail server should be set to "POP3" by default. This is correct.
Enter the server names as provided in by Cloch Internet. They will generally take the form mail.yourdomainname.ie for both the incoming and outgoing mail servers.

Enter your password exactly as given to you. Passwords are CaSe SeNsItIvE!
You have the option to have Outlook remember your password. If you are comfortable with this, check the box. If your computer is used by others and you do not wish them to download or send messages, leave the box unchecked.

Step 6: Properties
Once finished, you should see a box like the one below, with your account listed.

Step 7: Server Properties
On the servers tab, click the "My server requires authentication" checkbox (very bottom).

If you are already connected to the Internet, Outlook should begin to check for messages immediately, otherwise it will prompt you to connect to the Internet.
